Benefits of Massage Therapy

1

Medical Massage

This massage focuses on a medical need. It is often used to manage pain, reduce inflammation, improve circulation, relieve nerve compression, improve digestion, increase flexibility, and treat other health care concerns.

2

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage helps by stimulating the soft tissues of the body to reduce the fluids that cause swollen joints. This practice helps remove the tissue waste to reduce muscle aches and joint pain.

3

Deep Tissue

This massage technique uses slower, more-forceful strokes to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It's commonly used to help with muscle damage from injuries.

4

Sports Injury

Sports massage has been suggested to help prepare an athlete for competition, as a tool to enhance athletic performance, as a treatment approach to help the athlete recover after exercise or competition, and as a manual therapy intervention for sports related musculoskeletal injuries.

5

Trigger Point Therapy

This massage focuses on areas of tight muscle fibers that can form in your muscles after injuries or overuse. The purpose of trigger point therapy is to release areas of tight, knotted muscles in your body, relieving pain, stiffness, and discomfort in the process. Many health problems are linked to muscle tightness, so this treatment has many effective applications.

6

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release applies sustained pressure on targeted areas of connective tissue (fascia) that surround your muscles and bones. This pressure is meant to release the restriction in the connective tissue so that you have greater range of motion and less pain

7

Cross Fiber

This technique helps to remodel the scar tissue and ensures that the collagen fibers of the scar tissue are aligned properly. Cross fiber massage is commonly used in the treatment of tendonitis and muscle strains or ligament sprains.

8

Lymphatic Drainage

Lymph drainage massage has become a popular form of massage due to its potential health benefits. This specialized approach focuses on the lymphatic system, which is part of the immune system. This type of massage aims to help the body maintain proper blood circulation, body fluid balance, and immune functions.

9

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on technique that uses a light touch to examine membranes and movement of the fluids in and around the central nervous system. Relieving tension in the central nervous system promotes a feeling of well-being by eliminating pain and boosting health and immunity

10

Neuromuscular

This therapy is a form of soft tissue massage that aims to alleviate chronic muscle and nervous system disorders and problems. It is mainly used to fix trigger points, circulation, nerve compression, postural problems, and repetitive movement injuries.

11

Gua Sha & Graston

Gua Sha & Graston uses a smooth-edged tool to stroke your skin while pressure is applied. This motion raises small, red, rash-like dots that show under your skin called petechiae that, releases metabolic toxins to the surface so the body can dispose of the toxins efficiently. Helps with built-up muscular tension, breaks up scar tissue, moves blood & treats chronic pain in the body.

12

Cupping

This massage technique uses slower, more-forceful strokes to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It's commonly used to help with muscle damage from injuries.
